A Work of Abstract

A Work of Abstract

Series: In the Making

Goal: To introduce our “A Work of Abstract” collection

TL;DR: A Work of Abstract. Seeing the World Differently.

  1. Reality isn’t fixed it’s layered and ever-shifting
This collection explores how the world changes based on perspective. Nothing is singular; everything is shaped by how we feel, where we stand, and what we choose to see.

  2. There’s beauty in ambiguity
Abstract moments invite us to pause, question, and wander. Instead of chasing clarity, they ask us to be curious allowing meaning to emerge slowly and personally.

  3. Every image is a reflection of feeling
These abstract visuals aren’t just aesthetic they mirror our emotional landscapes. Blur, light, and texture become metaphors for memory, identity, and inner complexity.

  4. Seeing differently is a mindful practice
To witness the abstract is to resist easy labels and sit with the unknown. It’s a lens for emotional depth, introspection, and expanding how we experience everyday life.

  5. This is an invitation to explore your inner world
When you engage with abstraction, you’re not just observing art you’re discovering parts of yourself. Share your reflections with us on instagram using #MakingUs and tag us @makingu.co, and help build a space where nuance, vulnerability, and imagination are welcome.

A Work of Abstract: Seeing Through Different Lenses

Sometimes, I feel like I’m not just looking at the world… but rather I’m a part of its abstract, its shifting colors, lights, and textures. The world isn’t fixed or simple. It’s layered, fluid, and always in motion, changing depending on where you stand and how you choose to see it.

That’s what A Work of Abstract is about. It is a meditation on this very truth: that reality is not a fixed narrative but a kaleidoscope of experiences, each fragment refracted through countless lenses. There is no single way to see, no single story that fully captures the complexity of what is. Instead, there are infinite ways to witness the world. Each one shaped by where we stand, how we feel, and how willing we are to embrace the unknown.

When I look at these images, I don’t just see shapes or patterns. I see fragments of myself, moments where the world blurs and becomes something more mysterious and alive. I see the beauty in uncertainty, the power in not fully understanding, and the invitation to be curious rather than certain.

This collection is an invitation. An urging to step beyond the impulse to label, to categorize, or to seek immediate answers. It calls us to sit with complexity and contradiction, to allow our eyes and minds to wander freely without the weight of expectation.

To enter the abstract is to open a door to a deeper kind of seeing. It is a seeing that honors nuance, that holds space for ambiguity, and that recognizes light within shadow, clarity within blur. It’s a vision that acknowledges how much of our world—and ourselves—exists in those subtle in-between places where meaning is not handed to us but discovered in the act of looking itself.

An Invitation

I invite you to lean into this uncertainty with us. To become part of the abstract. To see the world through a new lens, and maybe find yourself in the shapes and colors that don’t fit neatly into words. Share your stories with us, or with us on Instagram using #MakingUs.

Let’s explore the beauty of not knowing together.
